Une eau

We trotted out our best Uno so far this past Saturday. It marked the first time that Without Annette has done a show with 7 players and having the whole troupe in the show was fun.

Pretty much everyone knows Budman, so it was nice to see him give our show a plug in his blog today:

It was hilarious and I quite enjoyed it. My friend Nadine came as well and at some points almost fell out of her seat laughing. [...] I highly recommend you check it out!

Here’s a link to a story in the Gazette about the shooting outside The Bay that was mentioned at the top of our show.

And yes, allmusic.com is a real music site, but its ratings are not actually:

Didn’t move me
Moved me
Moo-hooved me
I cried
I died

Wait… in the show you said 3 stars was ‘moo-Hooved me’. Are you forgetting that, or are you such a Quebecois French speaker that you don’t notice aspiration before vowels?!

    Also, great show!

Y’know what? I thought it was moo-hoved but then I wasn’t so sure. At least I italicized the half-hearted 2-starred “moved me”.

Also, thanks for plugging our show in your blog the past two weeks!

    OK, I fixed it.

Also, forgetting to put “i am human” really sucks cause the text vanishes from the box when you click the back arrow. I should probably fix that.

    People, great show.

I had no idea what to expect. My selling it to others was something along the lines of, guys, I have no idea what to expect. It could be funny. It could be serious. It could be really boring.

I got two takers and I must say, funny funny stuff. A flow that is more appropriate I think to the thing you’d see in a movie or an hour long program on the telly. Every line isn’t of the punch variety and on the whole this makes it very enjoyable. I really just felt it.

    I give it four stars.

I just wanted you to know that, even though this is three years late, I really enjoyed this show.

    Thank-you.
