Ladders
 Death is just a misstep away |
There’s a ladder backstage at TSC. The ladder is the only way of getting behind the curtain without the whole audience seeing you walking down the aisle. Clambering up and down this ladder brings me back to Tiger Leaping Gorge, China, my own personal Vietnam.
This picture, taken by a survivor, shows only one segment of one ladder in the gorge. It reminds me of a scene from last Saturday’s Uno that featured a stairway to heaven. The pictured stairway, however, only leads you to heaven if you slip. |
