I’m waiting for the street sale starting Thursday, when the Tibetan restaurant in the block below Mount Royal sets up outside, and sells samosas at 2/$2.50 (up fifty cents from last year). By that time, the pizza slices are pretty stale.
There was one venue manager who’d go out with his assistant (who
was his girlfriend and then his wife) to fine dine during the Fringe, likely the rare exception. It really cuts into the budget and the Fringing time.
